OVERVIEW

Day four was an energetic and spirited affair entailing two full practices. The noise at field level was noticeably louder during the over two hour morning practice as the pace seemed to pick up from the previous days.

For the second day in a row, head coach Corey Chamblin had the players in pads for an intense one hour and forty-five minute afternoon practice.

It was an overcast day in the Bridge City, with a light breeze out of the south with the temperature pushing to 20 degrees.

PLAY OF THE DAY

In pads for just the second time this training camp, the play of the day has to go to the men in the trenches. Afternoon pass rush one-on-ones were an intense encounter between the offensive and defensive linemen, with battles being won on both sides of the ball.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

“They are growing together. I will tell you that this is probably a little bit different because I think those guys are meshing together as a whole, they are understanding the big picture. It’s not so much offence, defence and special teams, they are all meshing together and understand that we all have to do this together to get us to where we need to be.” HC Corey Chamblin on staff cohesion

FAN ACCESS

Select players will be available to fans for autographs along the west fence line following the afternoon practices throughout the week.

 TOMORROW

Players and coaches will hit the field for Day 5 of training camp with two walk through sessions. The first walk through will take place at 9:30 am at Griffith’s Stadium. The team will then head north to Prince Albert for a one hour afternoon walk through (2:30pm – 3:30pm) at Alfred Jenkins Field House.
